on/off cycle. 1 second on, 1 second off. FSM talks about the ECU controlling the relay with some 1 second intervals depending on if the engine is started or not. Wondering if there is some signal its not happy with. I know it looks for CAS to say the engine is spinning, but I haven't found much other than that. No, doesn't really idle. Does the same thing no matter what rpm. I can still move it around the shop, but you wouldn't want to take it out. Basically, the fuel pump turns off, rpms fall, fuel pump comes back on, engine catches itself before it dies. This also gets the CEL to flash on when it happens when running. Pump does the same with just the key on, engine not running. I also cannot check codes, as it resets the light while trying to check with just the key on. So now I'm looking for a reason that maybe the ECU is cycling, not just the signal to the pump relay.
------------------ Tada! "Low compression in cylinder 6."
